1. Raw Material Preparation & Pretreatment
2. Core Process: Membrane Electrolysis
* Water Supply: First flows into the Water Purification System to remove impurities, ensuring qualified water quality for subsequent processes.
* Salt: Enters the Salt Saturator to dissolve into saturated brine. Then it goes through 1st Brine Purification and 2nd Brine Purification to eliminate contaminants (e.g., calcium/magnesium ions), preventing scaling in downstream equipment.
The purified brine enters the Membrane Electrolysis unit, working with the Anolyte Circulation System and Catholyte Circulation System to complete electrolysis:
* Anode reaction: Produces chlorine gas (Cl2).
* Cathode reaction: Generates hydrogen gas and sodium hydroxide.
* Byproducts H2 and Cl2 are discharged to the Atmosphere to avoid safety risks.
3. NaClO Production & Storage
4. Recycle & Discharge
Cl2 (from electrolysis) and 32% NaOH (from 32% NaOH Storage) are fed into the NaCLO Reaction & Storage unit.
They react: Cl2 + 2NaOH -> NaCl + NaClO + H2O, forming the final sodium hypochlorite product.
Waste liquid from the process is either recycled via the Anolyte Recycle System or drained through Drain outlets, reducing waste and environmental impact.
This process enables continuous, efficient NaClO production through multi-stage purification and membrane electrolysis, while addressing safety (e.g., H2/Cl2 emission) and environmental concerns.
