Core Process Flow
Bse-220 Large-Scale Seawater Electrolysis Chlorination System
Seawater Inlet & Pressure Management
Raw seawater enters via the Seawater Inlet, then passes through the Pressure Regulator (with a parallel Safety Drain for pressure relief) to stabilize inlet pressure.
Seawater Pretreatment
Pressurized seawater is sent to the Seawater Booster Pump for flow enhancement, then filtered by the Seawater Strainer to remove impurities (protecting downstream components).
Flow Control & Electrolysis
Pretreated seawater goes through Flow Control to adjust to the required volume, then enters the Electrolyzer:
1. The Transformer Rectifier supplies DC power to drive the electrolysis reaction (converting seawater chloride ions into hypochlorite).
2. The Acid Washing System maintains electrolyzer performance via periodic cleaning.
Gas Separation & Storage
The electrolyzed mixture (hypochlorite + hydrogen gas) flows to the Degassing & Storage Tank:
 · Hydrogen is vented safely via Hydrogen Vent to Open Atmosphere (assisted by the Air Blower for gas displacement).
Final Output
The purified hypochlorite solution is pumped out via the Injection Pump to the Hypochlorite Outlet for disinfection application.
