Product Overview
With 20 years experience on 15% sodium hypochlorite generation technology for sodium hypochlorite plant worldwidely , CHLORY is specialized on chlor-alkali technology to design and manufacture high-strength sodium hypochlorite plant, Our technology uses salt, water and electricity to generate 5-15% sodium hypochlorite(NACLO), hydrochloric acid (HCL) and caustic soda(NAOH) through electrochemical and chemical reactions.

Saturated brine enters the ion-membrane electrolyzer to produce chlorine gas (anode side) and sodium hydroxide (cathode side). The generated chlorine gas is absorbed by a vacuum generator and flows into the reaction chamber, where it mixes with sodium hydroxide to form sodium hypochlorite. The core technologies of BSHH are the ion-membrane electrolyzer component and the NaClO Reactor. The ion-membrane electrolyzer component utilizes PFSA (perfluorosulfonic acid) to separate the anode and cathode of the electrolyzer and ensures the unidirectional passage of cations through the PFSA membrane.

Food-grade salt is dissolved in softened water to form 2.5-3.0% dilute brine, which is filtered through a precision strainer to remove impurities, ensuring optimal electrolysis efficiency and electrode protection.
The preprocessed brine is pumped into the electrolytic cell via a metering pump, with flow rate regulated by the PLC system to maintain consistent concentration during electrolysis.

Under direct current (DC) supplied by the stabilized power supply, brine undergoes electrolysis in the UPVC cell:
Anode Reaction: 2Cl-→ Cl2 + 2e-
Cathode Reaction: 2H2O + 2e-→ H2+ 2OH-
Combined Reaction: 2NaCl + 2H2O → NaClO + NaCl + H2
